Neda McGuire, owner of Aging Matters is a Gerontologist and End of Life Doula. Her passion to help and care for others, guided her to health care. As Vice President of clinical operations at Mary Washington Hospital and subsequently, owner of a successful in-home care organization, she has over 30 of experience assisting families in their health and aging journey.
Neda is a member of Aging Life Care Association and International End of Life Doula Association. Neda has a Master’s in Gerontology and a Masters in Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia.
Neda has been awarded the Business of the Year award by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, “Women of Distinction” award from the Girl Scouts of America in the category of Entrepreneurship and also awarded the Laurie Wideman Enterprising Women’s award.
Neda is a Rotarian and honored to help the community through Rotary’s mission of service. She has been a hospice volunteer, assisting patients and families during this sacred journey and a past board member of the Alzheimer’s Association and former CEO of Partners in Aging in Fredericksburg.
Being a daughter to her parents, mother of two and wife are the titles she cherishes most. She also loves her adorable Siberian husky, Dakota, who takes Neda on walks to get some exercise!
